The 2026 Minnesota Primary Election was held Tuesday, August 11, 2026, and Brooklyn Center voters narrowed the fields for mayor and two at-large City Council seats. The City of Brooklyn Center confirms that the municipal primary was held August 11, with the general election scheduled for November 3, 2026.

The results below are based on the unofficial results reported after all six Brooklyn Center precincts reported.

Four candidates competed for mayor. The top two advanced to the November 3 General Election.

Nine candidates competed for two at-large City Council seats, with the top four advancing to November.
