2026 Brooklyn Center Primary Election Results
The 2026 Minnesota Primary Election was held Tuesday, August 11, 2026, and Brooklyn Center voters narrowed the fields for mayor and two at-large City Council seats. The City of Brooklyn Center confirms that the municipal primary was held August 11, with the general election scheduled for November 3, 2026.

Four candidates competed for mayor. The top two advanced to the November 3 General Election.

Teneshia Kragness and Alexander Koenig advanced to the November 3 General Election. Kragness finished first with 1,832 votes. Koenig edged Laurie Ann Moore for the second and final advancing position by seven votes.

Nine candidates competed for two at-large City Council seats, with the top four advancing to November.
